Kitchen assistant

Position: Chef

Basic Salary: 1600-1700

Working days:  5.5

Working time: mon-fri 8-4, sat/sun 8-12

Remarks: meal, 1 month bonus

Responsibilities:

[Food Preparation and handling food vary from meat, vegetables, rice & pre-cooked meals.

Assemble food containers, place product into packaging and seal.

Pack and stack product correctly to ensure safe and efficient truck loading.

Able to carry up to 5kg of weight load.

Examine and inspect containers, materials, cleanliness, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.

Maintaining a clean environment / work area.

Assist with food portioning, preparation of the ingredient and cleaning up of the cooking area

Upkeep cleanliness of the kitchen

Assisting cooks in the preparation of rice, vegetables, fruits and necessary ingredients.

Cleaning all dishes, work stations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.

Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients for subsequent use by the Chef.

Sweeping and mopping floors, as required.

Assisting with the unloading of deliveries.

Storing ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations.

Assisting with the monitoring of inventory.
