POSITION LOCATION : Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia

POSITON NAME: Finance/ Debtor's Clerk

Key Performance Areas

• Sub prepare and record financial transactions including sales, purchases, customer receipts, and payments in the company's accounting system
• Manage and resolve debtor discrepancies using database applications
• Ensure timely monthly reporting and statement dispatch to debtors
• Explain billing invoices to third parties when necessary
• Follow up regularly on overdue accounts to ensure prompt payment
• Process and reconcile bank statements monthly
• Assist with stock taking activities
• Work overtime as required
• Adhere to company policies, disciplinary code and safety procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-2 years od relevant debtor's experience is essential
• Studying toward or possessing an accounting degree will be an additional advantage.

Skills & Attributes

• Proficient in accounting software, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential for this role.
• Proficiency in Afrikaans will be an added advantage
