About the Role:

As a Hardware and Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and production of our cutting-edge hardware products. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the seamless integration of hardware components into our products, as well as optimize production processes for efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB design, hands-on experience in production cycles, and a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle production of client products and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure timely and cost-effective production of hardware components.
  • Provide technical support to the production team and troubleshoot any hardware-related issues that arise during manufacturing.
  • Design and debug embedded hardware devices for IoT applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware devices to identify and resolve any issues or defects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in
    • Soldering of SMD components and debugging/reworking on the boards.
    • Strong understanding of production cycles, including DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
    • PCB debugging, testing and manufacturing.
  • Work in end-to-end design and bring up of boards., i.e., from understanding the requirements, selecting the appropriate components, schematic capture, PCB layout and design, sending out boards for manufacturing and testing of boards.
  • Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing processes, such as SMT assembly, injection molding, and CNC machining.
  • Understanding of Analog and Digital Electronics
  • Hardware debug experience, including familiarity with tools such as the oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and signal generators.
