We have a fantastic new opportunity to join a recognised national vocational education provider as their Quality Support Manager.

In this role you will be managing a professional team of 6, consisting of National Moderation Managers, Assessment Manager and Quality Support administration team members.

Your purpose is to develop and maintain effective quality assurance systems, processes and procedures and ensuring that your team meets compliance with policy as it relates to Quality and Academic systems.

Qualifications and relevant experience you will bring to this role:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Management/Leadership role
  • At least 5 years experience in a quality assurance role within the vocational education sector.
  • Sound knowledge of TEC, WDC and NZQA regulatory compliance requirements for assessment and moderation practices, and an understanding of some of the challenges in applying these in a work-based learning setting.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify issues, analyse root causes, and develop solutions to address complex problems and compliance challenges for stakeholders.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and experience of working collaboratively across cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders to drive quality and compliance initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes, procedures, and systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • A high level of skill in statutory interpretation & documentation preparation, policy development, and utilising a change management approach to implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including investigative, analytical and report writing skills
  • Experience of project management and utilising change management skills with a focus on progress, continuous improvement and risk management.
  • Ideally you will hold standards 4098, 11551 and 11552 and relevant qualification in Adult Education
