Role Overview

The Head of Sales / Sales Lead will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s sales strategy, owning revenue growth, and building scalable sales channels across priority markets. This role requires a commercially experienced leader with exposure to fintech, crypto, and payments products, strong client engagement capabilities, and a proven ability to build, lead, and scale sales teams

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
  • 7 years’ experience in sales or commercial leadership roles within fintech, crypto, payments, or financial services
  • Proven experience defining sales strategies and scaling sales channels
  • Strong track record of building and converting sales pipelines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams in high-growth environments
  • Commercially driven, outcome-focused, and comfortable operating with autonomy

Responsibilities

  

Sales Strategy & Channel Development

  • Define and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with business growth objectives
  • Identify, develop, and optimise sales channels across priority markets
  • Establish clear go-to-market approaches and revenue targets

  

Pipeline Development & Client Engagement

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, including defining priority hit-list clients
  • Lead senior-level client engagement, relationship management, and commercial negotiations
  • Maintain consistent engagement with key prospects and active clients

  

Partnerships & Growth Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Growth Lead to identify, assess, and execute strategic partnership opportunities
  • Support partnership-led growth initiatives from evaluation through to execution
  • Strengthen external relationships that support long-term revenue growth

    

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Build, manage, and mentor the sales team, setting clear KPIs and performance expectations
  • Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement within the sales function
  • Support hiring and scaling of the sales organisation as the business grows

  

Performance Oversight & Reporting

  • Oversee sales performance, pipeline forecasting, and revenue reporting
  • Provide regular updates and insights to executive leadership
