Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.
Role Overview
Our client currently has a vacancy for a Business Solutions Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in IT, combined with 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Multi-annual experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems;
- Multi-annual experience in Agile as well as agile toolbox (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Big Picture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.);
- Excellent Knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
- Good Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework;
- Ability to give business and technical presentations;
- Experience working in a public sector environment; in European Institutions will be considered an asset;
- The following certifications are a strong asset: Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI, PRINCE2 Foundation, Certified in PM2, ITIL v4 certification;
- Excellent command of the English language.
Responsibilities
- Work within the agile process and take decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team;
- Typically supervise several business analysts;
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the project;
- Interact and validate requirements with the business;
- Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an in-depth understanding of a specific business domain;
- Be involved in the decision-making process related to user stories scheduling into sprints;
- Review deliverable and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint;
- Organize live demonstration of the product at the end of the sprint;
- Evaluate and facilitate progress reporting;
- Assist with internal and external communication by improving of transparency and dissemination of information;
- Evaluate prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs;
- Interact with business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers.
