Quality Assurance and Test Analyst (Information Technology/Software)

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Quality Assurance and Test Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Athens, Greece. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 6 years;
• In depth experience with Web technologies and Microsoft applications;
• Experience with testing procedures, platforms and tools like JIRA, Confluence;
• Experience with Integration testing;
• Excellent experience with Automation testing frameworks;
• Excellent knowledge of Quality and risk management procedures;
• Experience in producing relevant documentation;
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the scope of test automation initiatives;
• Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and frameworks;
• Develop and contribute to the overall test automation strategy;
• Convert manual test cases into reliable automated test scripts;
• Write maintainable, scalable, and reusable test code;
• Apply best practices for test naming conventions, structure, and assertions;
• Manage test data, environment configurations, and reporting tools;
• Support test result analysis and contribute to reporting processes;
• Assist in defect tracking, reporting, and resolution workflows;
• Design, evaluate, and utilize testing tools to assess software quality;
• Establish and promote standards to improve test effectiveness and efficiency.
