Role Overview
The Rails Application Analyst will play a critical role in supporting and managing applications to banking partners, payment providers, and regulated financial institutions. This role requires hands-on experience working within fintech, payments, or crypto environments, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, onboarding processes, and financial rails.
The role will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring applications, documentation, and compliance processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory expectations across regulated markets such as Africa, the UK, or similar jurisdictions.

Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field
- 4 years’ experience within fintech, payments, crypto, or regulated financial services
- Hands-on experience with banking or fintech applications and onboarding, including EMIs, regulated exchanges, CFD providers, or financial institutions
- Strong understanding of KYC, KYB, and AML frameworks
- Proven experience preparing and managing regulatory, compliance, and banking documentation
- Experience liaising directly with banks, regulators, and third-party providers
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across legal, compliance, product, and operations functions
Nice to Have (Not Essential)
- Existing relationships with banks, payment providers, or regulated exchanges
- Background in compliance, operations, or regulatory consulting
- Experience operating across African, UK, or similar regulated markets
Responsibilities
Banking & Rails Applications
- Manage and coordinate applications to banks, payment providers, and regulated financial institutions
- Support onboarding processes for financial rails, including banks, EMIs, regulated exchanges, and financial institutions
- Ensure applications meet partner, regulatory, and compliance requirements
Regulatory & Compliance Documentation
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory, compliance, and banking documentation
- Support KYC, KYB, and AML processes in line with applicable regulatory frameworks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, reviews, and partner assessments
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Liaise directly with banks, regulators, payment providers, and third-party partners
- Act as a point of coordination between legal, compliance, product, and operations teams
- Manage multiple stakeholders and ensure timely communication and follow-up
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal compliance, operations, product, and legal teams to support onboarding and ongoing requirements
- Provide guidance on regulatory expectations and partner requirements
- Support continuous improvement of onboarding and application processes
