Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.
Role Overview
Our client currently has a vacancy for an Information & Document Management Coordinator fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in IT, combined with 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Proven experience in project management of large project or programme autonomously, while coordinating with the team, contractors and / or client;
- Experience with communication, engagement and/or open-source;
- Experience with data sharing environment;
- Experience working in a public sector environment;
- Practical knowledge of (Open-Source) data sharing tools (EDC, Gaia-X, others), models and standards (W3C DID, W3C DCAT, W3C ODRL, etc.);
- Certification in Project management (e.g. PM², PMBoK, PMI.);
- Experience in communication and engagement with open-source community will be considered an asset;
- Experience in the data sharing ecosystem, working for/with a data sharing organisation or body will be considered an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, with the team assigned to the task, under the responsibility of a senior Project manager the monitoring of the project including the provision of input to the contractor(s) from an end-to-end point of view of the development cycle;
- Work within the agile process and take decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team;
- Follow several activities across different projects, in particular Simpl-live, coordinating among different contractors and team members requiring technical and project management skills;
- Following the onboarding process, this will require to understand and comply to a review process, monitor status of certain tasks, coordinate internally and gather input from within the unit, other units, or within the programme;
- Acquire an in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the project;
- Review progress of activities and deliverables of different contractors on the programme;
- Evaluate and contribute to progress reporting;
- Assist with internal and external communication by improving of transparency and dissemination of information, supporting the relevant tasks.
