Job Title: Workspace Contractors (x2)

The Position:
Our client is undergoing a large-scale technology refresh and is seeking two (2) Workspace Contractors to support the deployment of new end-user devices. You are essential to ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while delivering a seamless transition to updated hardware and software environments.
What You'll Do:
- Deploy and configure laptops and desktops, including imaging and software installation.
- Support authorized software and troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues.
- Transfer user profile data and perform warranty repairs.
- Provide user training on desktop and workspace technologies.
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and OneDrive, to ensure seamless user experience and productivity.
- Manage inventory and ensure availability of deployment resources.
- Escalate complex issues to Technical Leads or Managers.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
- Document all actions taken on assigned tasks.
- Fulfil service requests according to documented procedures.
- Respond to escalated requests from the Service Desk.
- Follow and improve established procedures and escalation paths.
- Learn and adopt new tools, techniques, and procedures.
- Document and share common solutions for knowledge base articles.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support or desktop deployment.
- Experience with Microsoft 365.
- Experience with desktop imaging, hardware, and Windows profiles.
- Experience with MDT and/or equivalent for deployments.
- Post-secondary education in IT or enrollment in a technical program preferred.
- A+, Network+, MCSA, MCITP, MCP, or equivalent knowledge of Microsoft MDT and related technologies is desirable.
- Ability to work MondayFriday onsite with flexibility for after-hours deployments.
- Must be able to travel locally within Calgary and to offices elsewhere as needed.
- Valid drivers license and vehicle required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
