Liquid Trees is dedicated to harnessing the power of Diatoms as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon. We focus on removing pollutants from rivers using native microalgae and Diatoms, which sequester CO2 through photosynthesis. Our efforts are concentrated on two primary domains:

Carbon Capture: Utilizing diatoms as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon.
Water bioremediation: Employing native diatoms to remove pollutants from water bodies


This position will be responsible for the cultivation of our native diatoms in open systems, particularly focusing on pilot-scale raceway ponds. With a strong passion for environmental sustainability and a deep understanding of microalgae's role in carbon capture, this position will also be responsible for overseeing the entire microalgae production process, spanning from laboratory analysis to the operation of large-scale cultivation facilities.


Job Description:

-Microalgae Production Maestro: Manage the operations of our microalgae production facility, ensuring equipment and systems function optimally.

-The Lab Architect: Establish and maintain a state-of-the-art laboratory for water quality analysis, guaranteeing proper conditions for accurate results.

-Water Quality Expert: Collect water samples and perform in-depth analyses in the lab to assess water suitability for microalgae cultivation.

-Culture Specialist: Scale up and meticulously maintain microalgae cultures, collaborating with external labs when needed.

-Research Enthusiast: Actively participate in microalgae cultivation and bioremediation research initiatives, contributing valuable insights

-Science Scribe: Document all scientific and technical aspects of your projects with precision, providing comprehensive reports for clear communication


Qualifications:

-You have a Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/Diploma) or a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Biology, or a related field.

-You have experience cultivating microalgae in open systems (Raceway ponds ideally)

-You have Fieldwork experience. (Desirable)

-You have proven experience in water sampling techniques.

-You are familiar with laboratory water quality analysis using instruments like pH meters, photometers, spectrophotometers, microscopes, and dry weight determination tools.

-You possess Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

-You are an adventuristic spirit, willing to relocate to Noida, Uttar Pradesh to run the analysis onsite.

-You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
