Liquid Trees is dedicated to harnessing the power of Diatoms as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon. We focus on removing pollutants from rivers using native microalgae and Diatoms, which sequester CO2 through photosynthesis. Our efforts are concentrated on two primary domains:

Carbon Capture: Utilizing diatoms as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon.
Water bioremediation: Employing native diatoms to remove pollutants from water bodies


This position will play a pivotal role in connecting with key people from the industry and government bodies to secure necessary permits for scientific research.
This role involves staying abreast of regulatory changes, ensuring compliance, and establishing connections with officials and researchers in biotechnology and environmental studies. Engaging stakeholders via various channels, closing deals, and obtaining permits for studies are key responsibilities.


Responsibilities
:

-Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

-Identify relevant officials and researchers in oceanography and environmental studies.

-Engage with stakeholders through various channels, including emails, calls, and physical meetups.

-Demonstrate the ability to close deals with stakeholders, fostering partnerships and collaborations for ocean and river studies.

-Lead efforts to obtain necessary permits for ocean and river studies, navigating through regulatory processes and ensuring compliance.

-Create Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with research bodies and institutions to formalize collaborations and partnerships.


Requirements:

-You have a Bachelor's degree in a Public Policy or relevant scientific field, such as Biotechnology, Marine Biology, or Environmental Engineering.

-You have experience in market research, lead generation, or business development, preferably in an environmentally focused industry.

-You are familiar with regulatory processes and government permit acquisition.

-You have strong communication skills, with the ability to convey scientific information to a diverse audience.

-You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

-You can work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

-You have a proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of projects and tasks.
