About the Project
We are developing an MVP that will capture events from a cars sensor systems and display statistics and measurements interactively on the in-vehicle screen. The project will leverage Kotlin/Java with Automotive OS (AAOS) for software development, and a Raspberry PI will be integrated as part of the hardware solution.

Job Description
We are looking for a freelance software engineer with strong experience in Android and Automotive Systems to join a team of three engineers. Together, you will build an MVP that reads the sensor systems of a car and displays real-time data using Automotive OS and a Raspberry PI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative Development: Work with three other engineers to develop both backend and frontend components.
• Interactive Interfaces: Utilize Automotive OS (AAOS) to create engaging and interactive in-vehicle interfaces.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience:

• At least 4 years of experience with Java/Kotlin/Android.
• Proven expertise in backend development with Kotlin/Java, especially in real-time or embedded environments.
• Hands-on experience with Automotive OS (AAOS) and Android development for in-vehicle applications.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack Compose.

Communication:

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Dependency Injection using Hilt.
• Understanding of Clean Architecture and Kotlin Flows.
• Background in embedded programming (e.g., Raspberry PI), Linux, and Bluetooth.
