Job Opportunity: Sr Architect: Kubernetes / Azure Stateful Infrastructure Engineer (Sr.)

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure architecture
Proficiency in Kubernetes, including deep expertise with StatefulSets, Persistent Volume Claims (PVCs), and Container Storage Interface (CSI)
Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), particularly in persistent storage and networking
Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
Experience optimizing storage solutions such as Azure Disk (Premium/Ultra) and Azure NetApp Files
Proficiency in Go or Python/Bash for automation, scripting, and custom controllers
Proven experience managing production-grade databases or distributed systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch) on Kubernetes
Experience implementing high-availability strategies and disaster recovery automation
Experience with GitOps practices for managing complex stateful deployments

Extra Points:

Experience designing self-healing, fully automated infrastructure systems
Strong background in observability, monitoring, and alerting for distributed systems
Familiarity with advanced Kubernetes scheduling techniques (e.g., topology spread constraints, anti-affinity)
Excellent communication skills
Desire to work in a multidisciplinary and cross-functional team

Remuneration:

Compensation in US dollars as contractor.
