Role Overview

We are looking for a Solution Architect (Insurance) — a profile that combines the capabilities of a technical architect and a business/technology consultant.

This role requires strong communication and consulting skills, as the architect will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business needs, conduct workshops, and recommend technological solutions in complex insurance environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical and discovery workshops with stakeholders.

• Map stakeholders and understand business and technology requirements.

• Define and justify technology recommendations and solution architecture.

• Support decision-making in complex insurance technology environments.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across business and engineering.

Requirements

• Strong experience as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Technology Consultant.

• Domain knowledge in the London Market insurance sector.

• Understanding of the technological complexity of insurance companies.

• Experience conducting independent workshops and stakeholder mapping.

• Excellent communication and consulting skills.

• Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture.

Technology Environment

The clients ecosystem primarily includes:

• Microsoft / Azure ecosystem

• Enterprise insurance solutions, including:

  • DXC OpenBox (policy system)

  • Verisk Suite, particularly Verisk SQL on the claims side

• Extensive custom solutions developed in Blazor .NET

Extra Points

• Experience working in large enterprise insurance environments.

• Strong architectural documentation and solution design skills.

• Experience working with cloud-based enterprise systems.

Remuneration

Compensation in US dollars as a contractor.

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere.
