Job Title: Ssr./Sr. Data Platform Engineer (Snowflake / Databricks / Microsoft Fabric)

About the Role
We are looking for a Ssr./Sr. Data Platform Engineer to support the design and implementation of modern cloud-based data platforms in a complex, regulated environment. This role will involve working on greenfield initiatives as well as data migration projects, contributing across the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with at least one leading data platform technology, along with a solid understanding of cloud and SaaS-based approaches. This opportunity is expected to start between May and June and is planned for a 9–12 month engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
• Contribute to greenfield platform initiatives and data migration projects.
• Work across the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployments.
• Collaborate closely with client teams and UK-based stakeholders.
• Support technical discussions and contribute to solution design decisions.

Must-have Requirements

• Ssr. or Sr.-level experience in data engineering and/or data architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one of the following technologies: Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience delivering data platform projects and data migration initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of cloud solutions and SaaS-based approaches.
• Experience working across the full SDLC.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• B2–C1 level English.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience in regulated industries such as finance or insurance.
• Exposure to greenfield projects involving modern platform implementation.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project environments and multiple parallel initiatives.
