Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual testing of software applications to detect bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual & automated).

  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and API testing.

  • Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and timely issue resolution.

  • Document and report defects, issues, and enhancements using bug tracking tools.

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks.

  • Build and execute automated tests (UI, API, E2E) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices, Agile methodologies, and emerging testing trends.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a QA Tester in manual and/or automation testing.

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and test strategies.

  • Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, WebDriverIO, TestCafe, Cucumber-js).

  • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Supertest/Jest) and writing E2E API integration tests.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated suites in pipelines, and cloud device/browser providers.

  • Skillful in version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, Agile teams.

  • Personal projects showcasing initiative and technological creativity.

  • Desire to contribute to building scalable testing strategies (test pyramid approach).

  • Experience configuring test reports and troubleshooting pipelines.
