What Youll Be Doing
As a Senior Data Engineer, youll help design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures that enable our clients to get the most out of their data. Youll work with modern data tools and cloud platforms to tackle real business problems through data engineering best practices.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement robust data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern ETL frameworks.
Work with structured and unstructured data from relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
Build and maintain data models using tools like ER/Studio or IBM Data Architect.
Develop data warehousing solutions using Amazon Redshift or Snowflake.
Support real-time data processing with tools like Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Azure Data Factory.
Ensure data security and access control with Apache Ranger, HashiCorp Vault, and related technologies.
Collaborate with analytics teams to support data visualization in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Work cross-functionally using tools like Jira, Confluence, and follow best practices with Git, SQL, Python, and R.
What Were Looking For
5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Proven hands-on experience with Databricks (this is a must-have).
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and pipeline optimization.
Solid background in both relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with big data tools like Apache Spark and Hadoop.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language, preferably Python or R.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
Advanced English level.
