Responsibilities

Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.

Design, write, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Perform functional, regression, API, and performance testing.

Participate in the design and implementation of automation frameworks and automated test scripts (web and/or mobile).

Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify quality issues.

Analyze requirements and validate user stories and features from a QA perspective.

Provide early feedback on product design and UX.

Define, maintain, and continuously improve QA processes and best practices.

Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure proper test coverage.

Report and track bugs using tools such as Jira.

Prepare and support UAT phases, assisting clients with testing and inquiries.

Share quality status reports with the project team.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.

Requirements

 +3 years of experience in roles as a functional tester and knowledge of programming oriented to automation projects.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.

Experience working with Agile methodologies.

Proficiency in writing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).

Basic database knowledge (at least SQL SELECT queries).

Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit).

Advanced level of spoken and written English.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a critical eye for both functional and visual behavior.

IT background preferred (students or graduates in Systems/Computer Science). Self-taught profiles are also welcome.
