Overview
We are looking for a Power BI Developer to join a project for PartsBase, the worlds largest B2B online parts locator service for the aviation, aerospace, and defense industries, serving over 7,000 corporate customers across 130 countries.
In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights through high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate has a strong BI background, excellent data visualization skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Design and develop efficient data models in Power BI, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance

Create, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights

Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, cloud services, etc.) into Power BI
-
Design visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that clearly communicate complex data
-
Apply advanced data visualization techniques to highlight trends, patterns, and outliers
-
Monitor and optimize the performance of reports and dashboards for responsiveness and fast loading
-
Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather feedback and continuously improve BI solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, data sources, and data models
-
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the BI landscape
-
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and implement appropriate security measures
Requirements
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of experience developing Power BI reports using Power BI Desktop and Service
-
Strong experience with DAX and M language (Power Query)

Solid technical background in analytics and BI roles

Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts

Excellent data visualization and dashboard design skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse teams

Full professional fluency in English and Spanish
