About the Role

We are looking for a Fullstack QA Engineer SDET to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our Enterprise Data Platforms, data pipelines, and customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

Data & Back-End Testing

  • Develop and execute test plans for data pipelines, ETL processes, and Enterprise Data Platforms.

  • Validate data integrity, transformations, and performance across large datasets.

  • Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks for back-end systems using Python, SQL, and Pytest (or similar).

  • Ensure automated tests integrate seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.

Front-End & Application Testing

  • Perform functional, integration, UI, and E2E testing for web applications.

  • Develop automated tests for web applications using tools such as Cypress or Playwright.

  • Execute thorough manual testing to identify bugs, inconsistencies, or usability issues.

  • Perform regression and performance testing as needed.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Quality Processes

  • Work closely with developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.

  • Document and report defects using bug-tracking tools, and follow through on resolutions.

  • Participate in the design and enhancement of test strategies, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.

  • Stay updated on industry standards, tools, and emerging trends in software testing.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or SDET

  • Strong programming and automation skills in Python, TypeScript, and SQL.
  • Proven experience with web automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, or similar) and back-end testing frameworks (Pytest or similar).

  • Experience testing high-volume data processing systems and data pipelines.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, version control (GitHub, GitLab), and databases such as Postgres.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data validation frameworks and testing data transformations.

  • Knowledge of data warehouses such as Snowflake.

  • Experience testing APIs (REST/GraphQL).

  • Exposure to AdTech or other data-intensive environments.

  • Personal or side projects showing curiosity, autonomy, and technical initiative.
