Job Title: Sr. Salesforce CTO
Location: Buenos Aires, preferably CABA — Remote with occasional on-site presence
Duration: Approximately 60 hours over 3–4 weeks, with potential extension.
About the Role
We are looking for a Sr. Salesforce CTO to provide technical leadership, strategic guidance, and structure across a fragmented technology ecosystem. The role will focus on defining a clear target architecture, aligning ERP, Salesforce, and operational systems, and prioritizing the integrations needed to support scalability and business visibility. This person will act as a hands-on strategic partner, helping stakeholders make pragmatic technical decisions during a critical growth phase. This is a fractional advisory role focused on technical leadership and guidance rather than hands-on development or implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the target system architecture and key data flows across ERP, Salesforce, and operational tools.
- Clarify the role and ownership of each system within the technology ecosystem.
- Prioritize and design critical integrations, including APIs, middleware, and automation opportunities.
- Guide ongoing Salesforce and ERP-related implementations from a technical leadership perspective.
- Identify risks, blockers, misalignments, and scalability limitations across current systems.
- Evaluate existing tools and recommend what should be kept, improved, integrated, or replaced.
- Act as the technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Translate business needs into practical technical decisions and execution priorities.
Must-have Requirements
- Senior-level experience in technical leadership, architecture, or CTO-level advisory roles.
- Strong experience with Salesforce and ERP integrations.
- Proven track record working with fragmented, legacy, or poorly integrated systems.
- Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, middleware, and automation.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on from an advisory and decision-making perspective.
- Experience coordinating external vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong business orientation and ability to translate operational needs into technical priorities.
- Comfortable making decisions under ambiguity and bringing structure to complex environments.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience with ERPs such as Odoo, SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Background in healthcare or multi-location operations.
- Experience with automation and applied AI initiatives.
- Data, reporting, or BI experience.
- Experience supporting technology decisions during growth or scale-up phases.
