General Position Summary

This position is responsible for the day-to-day full recruitment cycle tasks, recruiting related marketing and sales administration.

Essential Job Functions

 

Recruiting and HR administration

  • Handles the full cycle recruiting taking care of both clients and candidates.
  • Receives job orders and applicants’ data and enters the information into the company’s system.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinates requests and handles communication and inquiries between clients & candidates and company’s internal personnel as a full cycle recruiter.
  • Files and maintains related documents, HR database and confidential information.
  • Researches for recruiting related on various career websites, competitors and the current market.
  • Reviews resumes and screens applicants to identify qualified candidates for open positions and make an introduction in writing for clients.
  • Coordinates and schedules interviews between candidates and clients.
  • Communicates with candidates and clients on job offers and negotiate salary packages and facilitate the hiring process for selected candidate(s).
  • Closely communicates with both candidates and clients and provides interface with corrective actions as necessary.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with candidates and clients through consistent follow-ups through visiting, calls and e-mail in order to maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Other duties may be assigned depending on the company needs.

 

Marketing

  • Researches and gathers information about competitors’ information, the market information on such as existing companies and new prospects/companies and potential applicants.
  • Constantly coordinates and updates the job postings on online platforms.
  • Digital marketing: Improve ONEPOWER's website, its online presence and social media accounts.
  • Updates company marketing materials and website content periodically to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Researches and places advertisements for ONEPOWER on various websites.
  • Assists in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote traffic to our company website and job postings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital marketing campaigns including SEO, SEM and social media marketing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the company’s marketing efforts.
  • Other duties may be assigned depending on the company needs.

 

 

Office and Sales Administration

  • Translate and interpret from Japanese to English and versa-versa
  • Answers phone calls, corresponds emails, and enters data
  • Prepares documents, worksheets, and emails in English and/or Japanese
  • Occasionally assists to prepare presentations at various meetings
  • Maintains excellent communication, both written and verbally with employees, management, candidates, and clients
  • Other duties may be assigned depending on the company need

Other & Miscellaneous

•    Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.

  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by senior management.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
  • Maintains good communication with the Company’s staff and management & outside contacts.
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Requirements

Bachelor (B.A) degree is preferred; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Experience Requirements

  • English and Japanese language skills (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Translation and interpretation experiences at the business level is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Administrative, Customer Service, HR, Accounting and/or Sales Support.
  • Has understanding and knowledge of Japanese business practices.
  • Good organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of document processing, department support, managing files and records.
  • Proficient with Adobe, Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, team player attitude.
  • Must be able to work some overtime when needed.

Tools & Equipment Used

  • General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, scanner, personal computer and calculator, etc.
  • Software includes the use of Windows operating system and MS Office applications, etc.
  • Mobile communications equipment including laptop computer and cellular phone, etc.
