Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Specialized AutoCAD Draftsman to support our engineering and project delivery teams. This role is critical to producing high-quality technical drawings and integrated line diagrams that reflect real-world system architecture and installation requirements. The candidate must be comfortable supporting 3D CAD modeling when required for coordination or visualization purposes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings for Pro AV, ELV, Acoustics, and IT systems
  • Develop accurate integrated line diagrams (signal flow, control, network, and system interconnections)
  • Support 3D CAD models and visual layouts as required by the design team
  • Translate engineering concepts, schematics, and specifications into build-ready drawings
  • Revise drawings based on design development, site coordination, and client feedback
  • Coordinate closely with AV/ELV engineers, acoustic consultants, and project managers
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and timelines
Required Experience & Skills
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory)
  • Proven experience in Professional AV, ELV, Acoustics, and/or IT system documentation
  • Solid understanding of integrated line diagrams and system architecture
  • Ability to assist with 3D CAD modeling (AutoCAD 3D or equivalent)
  • High attention to detail and technical accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple drawings across active projects
Preferred Profile
  • Experience working with AV integrators, consultants, or ELV contractors
  • Exposure to hospitality, corporate, education, or large-scale developments
  • Immediate availability within the UAE
