About the job Remote | Luxury Retail & Clienteling Specialist — $75–$155/hour
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for retail and clienteling professionals with experience in luxury goods, customer relationship management, client-facing sales, and structured review of commercial documents.
This role supports remote evaluation projects focused on reviewing domain-specific materials for quality, accuracy, relevance, and practical alignment with real-world retail and clienteling practices. Selected professionals will apply their industry experience to assess documents, identify gaps, and provide clear written feedback using established evaluation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Clienteling Document Review
- Review materials related to retail operations, luxury sales, customer engagement, and clienteling
- Assess documents for accuracy, relevance, completeness, and practical usefulness
- Identify unclear recommendations, unsupported assumptions, and missing commercial considerations
- Evaluate whether materials reflect realistic retail and customer-facing workflows
Luxury Customer Experience Evaluation
- Assess content involving personalised service, customer relationship development, and high-value client engagement
- Review recommendations related to customer retention, follow-up, outreach, and relationship management
- Evaluate whether proposed approaches align with premium and luxury-service expectations
- Apply practical judgment from client-facing retail and sales environments
Structured Analysis & Feedback
- Provide clear written evaluations explaining the strengths and weaknesses of reviewed materials
- Follow defined rubrics, instructions, and quality standards consistently
- Recommend specific improvements to structure, accuracy, and commercial relevance
- Maintain strong attention to detail across repeated review assignments
Business Document Assessment
- Review spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and written materials using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Assess whether data, conclusions, and recommendations are presented clearly
- Identify inconsistencies across documents, calculations, or supporting information
- Organise feedback in a concise and professionally structured format
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in retail, luxury goods, clienteling, customer-facing sales, or a related field
- Experience building and managing long-term customer relationships
- Strong understanding of retail service standards, customer engagement, and commercial performance
- Excellent document-analysis and review skills
- Strong written communication and analytical judgment
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow structured guidelines
- Professional proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Current residence in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Europe
Educational Background
- A bachelor's degree is required
- A degree in business, retail management, marketing, fashion, communications, hospitality, or a related discipline is relevant
- Professional training in luxury retail, customer experience, sales, or client relationship management may be valuable
- Equivalent specialist experience in premium retail or client-facing commercial environments may strengthen an application
