24/7 ProTAS, a leading healthcare recruiting agency, is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician to join our team in Tyler, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent position with top pay and benefits.
As an Urgent Care Physician, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages in our state-of-the-art urgent care facility. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries, as well as providing preventive care and health education to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries, such as colds, flu, infections, minor wounds, and fractures
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments
- Provide preventive care and health education to patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current on best practices and advancements in urgent care medicine
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid state medical license
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
