A long-established and well-regarded West Sussex law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor to join its busy and respected Property Department.

Working closely with the Managing Partner and Head of Department, this is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor to build on their experience and play a key role in a growing and client-focused team.

The Role

This is a full-time, office-based position where you will handle a broad and interesting caseload including:

• Buying and selling of commercial property

• Finance and secured lending

• Site acquisitions and disposals, including plot sales

• Granting and renewal of commercial leases

• Land promotion agreements and options

You will be encouraged to contribute to the firms marketing and business development strategy, with support from the team to build your personal and professional profile in the local market.

What Were Looking For

You'll be an experienced commercial property lawyer who can confidently manage your own files and work collaboratively. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A solid background in commercial property law

• Strong knowledge of the SRA Account Rules, SRA Handbook, and Outcome Focused Regulations

• The ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines

• Excellent client care skills, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and responsiveness

• A proactive, team-oriented mindset

• Ambition to grow within the firm
