Job Purpose                                                                                                

Senior User Experience Researcher is responsible for leading a UX team in studying and understanding user behaviors, needs, and preferences in order to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences. They combine research, analysis, and design principles to optimize the usability and user satisfaction of a product or service.

Responsibilities
  1) User Research: Conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing together insights into user needs, goals, and behaviors.                                                                   

 2) Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data collected during user research to identify patterns, trends, and user pain points.                                                                                        

 3) User Personas: Develop user personas that represent the target audience, incorporating demographic ,behavioral, and attitudinal characteristics.                                                                                           

4) Information Architecture: Create and refine the information architecture of digital products or services ,ensuring logical and intuitive navigation and organization.                                                    

 5) Wireframing and Prototyping: Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and validate user flows and interactions.                                                    

 6) Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of product designs, identifying areas for improvement.                                                        

7) Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure user-centered design approaches and align on project goals.                                                                                                          

8) Iterative Design: Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results, continuously improving the user experience throughout the development lifecycle.                                                  

9) Accessibility: Advocate for and integrate accessibility considerations into the design process, ensuring products are usable by individuals with disabilities.                                                

10) Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, UX methodologies, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions and enhance user experiences.

Qualification
- Strong knowledge of UX research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, and surveys.     

 - Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma for wireframing and prototyping. Analytical mindset with the ability to derive meaningful insights from user data.                               

- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and present findings to diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with front-end development principles and constraints is beneficial.  

- Understanding of accessibility guidelines and best practices.          

-Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.                                                                                                

- Prior experience in financial industry or with financial products will be given special consideration.
