VP DATA

Responsibilities

1. Supervising daily business and administrative operations while refining operating procedures to maximize efficiency.

2. Team Management: Providing leadership and mentorship to a team of data professionals, nurturing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

3. Budget and Planning: Developing and managing the departmental budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support organizational objectives.

4. Vendor Management: Managing relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contract.

5. Project Implementation: Taking a hands-on role in leading and coordinating data initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

6.Collaborating with management and stakeholders to secure capital and implement business expansion strategies.

7.Assessing company performance and recommending strategies to enhance results and drive growth.

8.Establishing policies that align with and promote the company's vision and culture, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.

Qualification 

1.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/Business Administration/
Information Technology or related fields.

2. Proven experience as a Data Engineer or a related role in data engineering role.

3.A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in data management, analytics, or similar positions, with at least 5 years spent in a leadership capacity.

4.Preferred familiarity with ETL processes, tools, and data integration platforms such as Talend, Informatica, etc.

5. Experience in design of data platform in both cloud and on-premises technologies.
Proven track record of successfully implementing data strategies and driving business
value through data-driven decision-making.

6.In-depth knowledge of data management concepts, methodologies, and technologies, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.

7. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
effectively influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

6.Outstanding written and oral communication skills Prior experience in budgeting and sales-related activities is a plus.
