Company Overview

         A company to provide consultancy, design, distribution and installation of solar systems on roofs of residential buildings, such as companies or organizations, factories, resorts, hotels, apartments, installed to save electricity, reduce indoor and building heating, or as another investment option to generate revenue from the supply of electricity produced to the Thai Power Authority or the regional power department at special prices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed their sales targets.
  • Create and implement successful sales strategies, tactics, and action plans.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations to provide feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new salespeople as needed.
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects, markets, and collaborations to increase the company's clientele.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to boost sales.
  • Manage the whole project lifetime, from the initial consultation to installation and after-sales servicing.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and installation teams to guarantee timely and efficient project completion.
  • Address any project-related difficulties or concerns, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure that all client inquiries, complaints, and requests are handled quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain strong safety standards and practices throughout the sales and installation process.
  • Continuously increase client satisfaction by putting in place feedback channels and quality control methods.
  • Track market trends, competition activity, and regulatory developments influencing the solar energy business.
  • Prepare frequent sales reports, forecasts, and performance measures for senior management review.
  • Make strategic recommendations based on market analysis to boost business growth and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline; an MBA is desirable.
  • A demonstrated track record of success in sales engineering, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industries.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and encourage a diverse team.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiating, and interpersonal abilities.
  • A strong understanding of project management ideas and procedures.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
    Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and fostering a culture of safety.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales engineering or a similar subject.
  • Prior experience as a manager or supervisor, particularly supervising a sales team.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and carry out strategic sales strategy to meet business objectives.
