Location: Dania Beach / Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Position Overview
A established marine electrical company is seeking an experienced Lead Marine Electrician to join their team in South Florida. This is a full-time position for a highly skilled professional who can independently troubleshoot complex electrical issues, oversee projects, and support installations across multiple job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot marine electrical systems and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Lead and oversee electrical projects from start to completion
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously throughout the South Florida area
- Install, service, and maintain marine electrical systems
- Work with solar power systems, lithium battery installations, and charging systems
- Ensure all work is completed to ABYC standards
- Coordinate with team members and clients
- Occasional travel along the U.S. East Coast may be possible
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of marine electrical experience (10+ years preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential
- Experience with solar systems and lithium battery installations
- Hands-on experience with Victron products and systems
- Current ABYC certification required
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits
- $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience
- Health insurance
