Lead Development Engineer

We are a Software Development and Cyber Security start-up with a focus on the B2B sector.

Currently we are searching to expand our team with the addition of a Lead Software Developer.

About us
Our start-up has been found in 2020 in Aachen, Germany. Our main business fields are custom
software development to optimize business processes and build custom industry applications. The
main client group is in the medical & engineering sector.
Our team currently exists of 4 in-house developers, UX Designer, PM and Mathematican. Moreover
we are collaborating cloesely with a partner agency for development tasks.

Your Profile

• We are looking for a developer who is a self-starter and is able to review, understand, and complete tasks individually. 
• You should be comfortable to communicate with team members throughout the process of development to project handover, and offer support on certain projects as required.
  
• You should be motivated to dive into our current projects to maintain them, doing bug fixes or adding new features on existing applications. 
• It is mandatory to feel familiar with the following frontend and
  backend technologies.

Frontend: Javascript / React / Vue

Backend: Node / pythong / Golang / (php)

anbit has built its own Kubernetes Cluster. It would be positive if you would like to get to learn more about this technology as well as learn to maintain deployment tasks and create CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab.

Your tasks:

With several ongoing projects and existing clients, the day-to-day functions are very dynamic and require projects to be worked on in-parallel throughout the day.
- Maintain current projects (Front- & Backend) or discuss tasks with other developers
- Manage projects with dedicated developer team (fix partner company)
- Participate in meetings and transparently provide completed progress as requested
- Review MR and complete deployments to K8 Cluster

Other requirements are:

- Motivated & open to new challenges
- Experienced in Fullstack development
- First experience in DevOps
- want to learn more or are already familiar with Kubernetes
- Ability to work and cooperate within the small team providing updates and information as required.
