Job Summary:
This individual will be a member of the Business Management Team, supporting the overall team through duties related to employee recruitment, retention, training, benefit administration, and beyond.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruiting; scheduling interviews, conducting initial phone screenings, onsite to welcome candidates during scheduled interviews
- Employee onboarding; creating the onboarding schedule, onsite to welcome the employee, working closely with the hiring manager and new employee to identify any additional training needed for a successful onboarding
- Benefit Administration & Open enrollment; explain plan offerings to new employees, review options during open enrollment, analyze and make recommendations to the executive team for the coming year, present to the team, oversee changes and updates to systems
- SWP Internship Program; manage the hiring process (post the job description, screen candidates, make selections), work with the SWP team to identify projects, tasks and capstone project, supervise the interns throughout the summer program
- Manager training; hold quarterly training and coaching sessions with people managers
- Other HR items; review and refine SWP Handbook policies and procedures, track PTO/DTO, coordinate employee parties and gifts, coordination of the annual review process, and HR reporting
Qualifications:
- Demonstration of the SWP Core Values (Initiative, Curiosity, Clear Communication, Team oriented, Humble, acts with Integrity, passionate about Service)
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
- Highly dependable and organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly
- Previous work experience in HR and/or project management
- HR certification a plus (SHRM or HRCI)
- Experience with a CRM system and employee data management
- Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment and growing firm

Salary is competitive based on industry standards.

- Bonus eligible; prorated for the first year of service
