Position: Business Development Manager - Civil Mobile Plant

We are currently experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our team.

Location:

This position is based in Mount Gravatt QLD, Australia. However, the role will require frequent travel to various project sites and client meetings across Australia.

Role Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for our company. You will play a crucial role in driving our growth strategy and expanding our client base in the infrastructure, construction and mining industries. Your primary focus will be on developing relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our services to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and research potential clients and projects in the infrastructure industry

- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the industry

- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our company and services

- Collaborate with the operations team to develop proposals and bids for new projects

- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure profitable and sustainable partnerships

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats

- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and progress to senior management

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to support business development efforts

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the infrastructure industry, though we will look at associated industries, such as power, pumping, lift etc.

- Proven track record of successfully securing new business and meeting sales targets

- Strong understanding of the civil mobile plant industry and its key players

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events

- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle if required
