About the job Project Engineer - Piling and Retaining Wall
A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Project Engineer - Piling and Retaining Wall to lead engineering delivery of piling and retaining-wall works in a constrained environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop piling and retaining-wall methodologies, sequence plans, platforms, access and spoil management
- Coordinate geotechnical and structural design, temporary works, proof testing, instrumentation and hold points
- Verify existing services, exclusion zones, rail clearances and working-platform certification
- Manage specialist subcontract procurement, production, quantities, submissions, variations and forecasts
- Maintain pile, anchor, wall, test, survey and as-built records
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, geotechnical or construction engineering
- 5-8 years' contractor experience including piling, ground engineering, retaining structures or heavy civil
- Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence
- Ability to obtain project-specific rail, site and medical competencies
- Contractor-side experience with work packs, RFIs, ITPs, subcontractor coordination and progress measurement
Relocation packages on offer.
Australian experience is required.
