About the Role

The organization is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in the finance industry, and strong skills in data analysis and management. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to help design and deliver impactful digital products within a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Scope of Work / Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Analysis & Decommissioning

    • Lead the analysis and decommissioning of existing applications to enhance efficiency and data accuracy while ensuring alignment with business objectives and security standards.

  2. Requirements Gathering & Documentation

    • Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements, facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams to support transitions to enterprise platforms.

  3. Gap Analysis & Alignment

    • Identify and address data or functionality gaps between legacy and target systems to ensure smooth migration and improved system integration.

  4. Transition Strategy & Risk Reduction

    • Develop and manage a comprehensive transition plan to decommission legacy applications with minimal disruption, optimizing resource use and mitigating operational risks.

  5. Stakeholder Engagement & Readiness

    • Support stakeholders through change management activities, process reviews, and readiness assessments to ensure successful adoption of new systems.

  6. Implementation & Performance Monitoring

    • Coordinate solution implementation, assist in QA and deployment, and monitor product performance and user feedback to identify improvement areas.

  7. Reporting & Incident Management

    • Provide regular project status reports, track progress, and assist in resolving escalated issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive actions.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, ideally within the finance industry.

  • Proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

  • Experience with ITIL, Agile, or similar IT service management and delivery frameworks.

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Preferred: Knowledge of enterprise financial systems such as CreditLens, LoanIQ, or Summit.

Reporting and Coordination

  • The consultant will take direction from the assigned manager or project lead and will work closely with internal teams and relevant stakeholders.

  • Additional related tasks may be assigned as required by the team or supervisor.

Work Arrangement

  • Remote work setup with occasional onsite reporting if necessary.

  • Work schedule: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (Manila Time).
