About the Role
The Ivalua SME will provide functional and technical expertise to support the design, configuration, development, release, and deployment of a Source-to-Pay (S2P) solution built on the Ivalua platform.
This role ensures that business requirements are translated into scalable, well-designed Ivalua configurations, aligned with best practices and program objectives. The SME will support iterative deployments of a modern procurement system and contribute to release planning, readiness, and execution.
Additionally, this role will play a key part in upskilling team members new to Ivalua by providing hands-on guidance, design reviews, and development support throughout the program lifecycle.
Scope of Work / Responsibilities
Ivalua Expertise & Solution Design
- Serve as the Ivalua SME across the S2P solution.
- Provide advisory support on platform capabilities, best practices, limitations, and design patterns.
- Validate solution designs to ensure alignment with business requirements and long-term maintainability.
- Act as an escalation point for complex functional or technical issues.
- Lead or support solution design for S2P modules (Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts, Requisition, Purchase Orders, Invoicing).
Configuration & Development
- Configure Ivalua components including workflows, forms, data models, business rules, and integrations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into implementable solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, auditability, and compliance requirements.
- Provide development guidance for configurations, enhancements, and integrations.
- Support defect resolution, optimization, and continuous improvement of solution quality.
- Participate in design reviews, configuration reviews, and defect triage.
Release & Delivery Management
- Coordinate development activities across internal teams and external vendors.
- Support release lifecycle activities including planning, readiness assessment, and deployment.
- Assist in packaging releases based on approved scope and changes.
- Participate in Go/No-Go readiness reviews.
- Support go-live, hypercare, and post-release stabilization.
- Coordinate with QA and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments.
Knowledge Sharing & Documentation
- Provide hands-on mentoring and upskilling for team members.
- Support onboarding through solution walkthroughs and best practice sharing.
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
- Maintain documentation such as design standards, deployment procedures, and integration dependencies.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to improvements in configuration management, development practices, and release processes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline delivery and enhance solution quality.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field
Experience & Skills
- 5–10 years of professional experience in supply chain systems, ERP, or related technologies
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing Ivalua S2P solutions
Technical Skills:
- Ivalua Functional and Technical Configuration (API, EAI, ETL)
- Advanced SQL
- APIs and microservices
- DevOps, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
- Data analytics and visualization
- AI / Machine Learning (preferred)
- UI/UX best practices
Certifications

Required:
- Ivalua L3 Certification (SRM, S2C, P2P, Integration)
- Ivalua Project Release Manager Certification

- Ivalua L3 SQL
Additional Requirements
- Experience managing product releases and engineering delivery
- Strong understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, and SDLC
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and multi-tier architectures
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Reporting and Coordination
- Works closely with product leads, project teams, and internal/external stakeholders
- May be required to provide additional support services as needed
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid setup, with onsite reporting as needed (e.g., once a month or based on project requirements)
- Work schedule: 8 hours between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (local time)
