About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Microsoft 365 Integration Architect & Developer to design and implement a scalable, secure, and standardized Microsoft 365 (M365) integration architecture supporting a Digital Knowledge Management initiative. The role focuses on standardizing SharePoint Online site templates, integrating advanced taxonomy management, and improving enterprise-wide collaboration, search, and governance.
This position will lead the delivery of tailored SharePoint sites (country, sector, thematic), ensuring consistency, usability, compliance, and seamless integration within the M365 ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Architecture

Analyze and refine business and technical requirements.

Design SharePoint site/page templates, web parts, and integration architecture.

Define specifications for taxonomy, governance, and search integration.
2. Development & Integration
-
Configure SharePoint Online templates (lists, libraries, pages, web parts).

Develop custom web parts using SPFx.
-
Integrate PoolParty for taxonomy and semantic search.
-
Configure AvePoint Cloud Governance for automated site provisioning and compliance.
-
Build workflows and automation to enhance functionality.
-
Define and implement rollout strategy for existing SharePoint sites.
3. Testing & Deployment

Conduct functional testing and support UAT.
-
Address feedback, resolve defects, and ensure quality delivery.
4. Documentation & Training
-
Deliver technical documentation and maintenance guides.
-
Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer.
-
Support legacy content migration.

Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Microsoft 365 certifications preferred
Experience
-
7+ years in Microsoft ecosystem development

3+ years focused on SharePoint Online/M365 backend integration

Proven experience in complex system integrations and API design
Technical Expertise
-
Strong proficiency in SPFx, Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell/PnP

Experience with PoolParty taxonomy and AvePoint Cloud Governance
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Search, metadata management, and search-driven UI
-
Experience in secure API development, data modeling, and zero-trust security principles

Familiarity with automated deployment pipelines and governance tooling
