OVERVIEW
The role will be responsible for the following:
- Attends design sprint sessions to align with overall project requirements and direction
- Act as a project SME to mentor QA engineers on project functionality and specifics.
- Work closely with Solutions Architect and Solutions Designer to facilitate creation of PSD and ensure the alignment between requirements, system architecture and test analysis.
- Create a comprehensive Test Analysis and ensure that all scope has been covered.
- Facilitate Test Analysis walkthrough with all stakeholders of the project.
- Serves as product SME and focal person for TA related inquiries of TAAS.
- Collaborate with developers to implement testability features.
- Impose checkpoints on progress of TAAS when there are testing activities.
- Review Test Cases to ensure that a significant amount of test is done for each scope
- and requirements.
- Providing technical guidance on QA processes, tools, and best practices.
- Creates automation scripts from the regression test suite.
Expectation for the first 6 months:
- Familiarize with the squad / product supported, AGILE practices and the standardized testing processes.
- Can create Test Analysis based on requirements, incorporating the minimum standard and guidelines set by the QA department.
- Leads / assists the TAAS in test preparation, test execution and test reporting.
- Started to create test automation scripts at minimum 3 test script per month (or 1 script per deployment)
Essential Skills / Non Negotiable Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
- Strong expertise in Front-End (Web and Mobile) and Back-End (API, Database, etc) testing.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience on CI/CD or any cloud based initiatives
Desirable Skills / Good To Haves:
- Experience in Non-functional testing (security, performance, etc.)ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Years of Experience: 4-7 years of experience in software development or QA roles.
- Initial engagement: 6 months subject for performance evaluation for renewal
