OVERVIEW

The role will be responsible for the following:

  • Attends design sprint sessions to align with overall project requirements and direction
  • Act as a project SME to mentor QA engineers on project functionality and specifics.
  • Work closely with Solutions Architect and Solutions Designer to facilitate creation of PSD and ensure the alignment between requirements, system architecture and test analysis.
  • Create a comprehensive Test Analysis and ensure that all scope has been covered.
  • Facilitate Test Analysis walkthrough with all stakeholders of the project.
  • Serves as product SME and focal person for TA related inquiries of TAAS.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement testability features.
  • Impose checkpoints on progress of TAAS when there are testing activities.
  • Review Test Cases to ensure that a significant amount of test is done for each scope
  • and requirements.
  • Providing technical guidance on QA processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Creates automation scripts from the regression test suite.

Expectation for the first 6 months:

  • Familiarize with the squad / product supported, AGILE practices and the standardized testing processes.
  • Can create Test Analysis based on requirements, incorporating the minimum standard and guidelines set by the QA department.
  • Leads / assists the TAAS in test preparation, test execution and test reporting.
  • Started to create test automation scripts at minimum 3 test script per month (or 1 script per deployment)

Essential Skills / Non Negotiable Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
  • Strong expertise in Front-End (Web and Mobile) and Back-End (API, Database, etc) testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Experience on CI/CD or any cloud based initiatives

Desirable Skills / Good To Haves:

  • Experience in Non-functional testing (security, performance, etc.)ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Years of Experience: 4-7 years of experience in software development or QA roles.
  • Initial engagement: 6 months subject for performance evaluation for renewal
