Data Analyst

About the Role:

The Senior Data Analyst will support the Integrated Data Ecosystem (AIDE) Program by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to deliver actionable insights. Responsibilities include reviewing business processes, gathering functional requirements, mapping data, assisting with quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Scope of Work and Responsibilities

• Collect and compile data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Conduct in-depth business process and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to maintain data quality, integrity, and consistency.

• Deliver data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.

• Assist in developing strategies and recommendations based on analytical findings.

• Support cross-functional teams by understanding data needs and providing analytical support.

• Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, analysis methodologies, and reports.

• Perform QA, data validation, and testing to ensure the reliability of data outputs.

Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Relevant Experience and Other Requirements:

• At least five (5) years of experience as a Business and Data Analyst or in a similar role

• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and other data analysis and reporting tools

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for complex datasets

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience with business strategy, market analysis, and business processes

• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts and processes

• Experience in QA, data validation, and testing

• Familiarity in data modeling, statistical methods, and programming languages such as Python or R is a plus

Work Arrangement

• Work arrangement discussion and an opportunity for the candidate to ask questions

• Hybrid, requiring employees to report onsite three times a week. If the user unit requires contractors to report to HQ, compliance is mandatory.

• Work Schedule is from 8:00AM 5:00PM Manila Time.
