About the Role

The Analytics Data Build and Visualization Developer will be responsible for delivering the right analytics products to the right stakeholders at the right timeenabling data-driven decision-making for safeguards management. He/She is expected to design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end analytics products using the Power Platform stack, primarily Power BI.

This role covers both data build and visualization components from data structures within the ISMS ecosystem. The Analytics Data Build and Visualization Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality solutions.

Scope of Work / Responsibilities

  1. Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of local and master data models for ISMS Analytics, including the ETL pipeline from the ISMS and related application ecosystem.

  2. Manage and optimize query performance to ensure efficient and scalable data model structures.

  3. Create and monitor data quality dashboards, collaborating with development and business teams to address identified issues.

  4. Design and implement access control models, including dynamic row-level security and protocols for seamless BI user updates.

  5. Work with cross-functional teams to develop data sharing policies and integrations.

  6. Design, develop, test, and deploy reports, dashboards, metrics, apps, data catalogs, monitoring tools, and other workspace objects.

  7. Develop and deploy advanced analytics products (e.g., prescriptive models, forecasts, sentiment analysis) aligned with the organizations analytics maturity model.

  8. Collaborate with the Solutions Architect, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure analytics products follow UI/UX best practices and sound design principles.

  9. Facilitate demos, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training sessions, and provide post-deployment support (hyper care) for assigned deliverables.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in analytics with a focus on data engineering and visualization, including at least 5 years using Microsoft Power BI.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in agile delivery projects.

Technical Knowledge

  • Experience in developing AI components is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with data warehouse methodologies and data lakes, regardless of platform, is a plus.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power Query (M language).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset and work ethic.

Tools / Software

  • Proficient in Azure DevOps (ADO).

  • Experience with enterprise GIS systems or open-source equivalents is an advantage.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate and Power BI Data Analyst certifications are desired.

Reporting and Coordination

  • The personnel will take instructions from the assigned Project Manager and Product Owner, and work closely with the project team, as well as internal and external stakeholders.

  • May be required to perform other related services as assigned by the supervisor or user unit.

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid work setup (remote and in-office).

  • Working hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Manila time).

  • Follows the organizations calendar and holidays.
