JOB DESCRIPTION:

BASIC FUNCTION:

Develop project plan, scope, estimates; Manage the implementation of IT projects ensuring on-time and within budget delivery while meeting business requirements and ensuring compliance with solution architecture. Algin across other delivery managers and report to the BTS project manager(s) in context of the project

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in prioritization of IT projects as part of the business planning/ demand planning cycle for the Units

• Align with the BTS project manager on the overall business outcomes for the modules and delivery timelines

• Manages the kick-off process ensuring all necessary resources are available in conjunction with business sponsor and that a robust project plan is in place

• Monitors assigned projects as per SDLC and Governance process

• Track and reports project implementation progress and budgets to BTS and/or ITSD management per the agreed frequency

• Identifies and logs project issues; Oversees the resolution process; and escalates issues when necessary

• Manages, when necessary, re-scopes the projects and updates project plans accordingly

• Manages the project closure ensuring all deliverables are achieved and documented; and relevant lessons learned/ case studies are developed

• Assists in selecting and on-going management of vendors/ suppliers for supporting selected projects

• Facilitates vendor contracting, payments

• Harness project best practices and contribute to the overall knowledge base

• Train new delivery managers with project delivery processes
