About the Role

The Senior Full Stack Developer plays a key role in designing, building, and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions for the GEMS platform. This role requires strong expertise in modern full stack development, microservices architecture, and CI/CD practices to ensure secure, resilient, and high-quality applications aligned with current cloud standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, and serverless patterns

  • Build front-end and back-end components, APIs, and third-party integrations

  • Configure and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment

  • Implement security, performance optimization, and monitoring best practices

  • Produce technical documentation (architecture, runbooks, deployment plans)

  • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and Level 2 production support

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

  • Minimum 7 years of full stack development experience

  • Strong experience with Azure, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js)

  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, YAML pipelines, Terraform, and DevOps practices

  • Solid API design, security, and integration experience

  • Proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions

  • Experience working in Agile teams and leading technical discussions

Nice to Have

  • TDD and unit testing (Jest, Cucumber)

  • Monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog)

  • Event-driven architecture and Azure Event Grid

  • Power BI, data modeling, or emerging AI technologies

Work Arrangement

  • Fully remote

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Manila Time)
