About the Role

The primary objective of this assignment is to engage a full stack developer with strong expertise in cloud-native design to support the development and implementation of advanced digital solutions. This role is critical in strengthening the projects technological foundation, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with modern cloud computing standards.

This project plays a key role in driving the organizations digital transformation by enabling more efficient and effective service delivery. The full stack developer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of assigned solutions, working closely with stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

Scope of Work / Responsibilities

The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, develop front-end and back-end components, and integrate multiple systems. Responsibilities include optimizing applications for performance and scalability, implementing security and data protection measures, and conducting comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The developer will also provide technical documentation and support, participate in code reviews, and stay current with emerging technologies to recommend continuous improvements. The expected outcome is the delivery of robust, user-friendly, and efficient web solutions that meet organizational standards and project objectives.

Detailed Tasks / Expected Outputs

1. Design and develop scalable, cloud-native solutions aligned with best practices, including microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures.

2. Develop front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and technologies; implement APIs and integrate with third-party services as required.

3. Configure and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, applying infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles for automated deployment and scaling.

4. Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring reliable and frequent releases.

5. Implement security best practices to safeguard data and applications and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

6. Monitor, analyze, and optimize application and infrastructure performance using techniques such as caching and load balancing.

7. Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, code documentation, and user guides, and provide training and support to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Masters degree is an advantage.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on cloud-native design and architecture.

• Proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions in enterprise environments.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.

• Back-end development experience using Node.js, Python, or Java.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), including Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless services.

• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Additional Desirable Experience

• Experience with SWIFT infrastructure, network architecture, and operational processes, particularly related to the SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP).

• Experience working in agile development environments.
