About the Role:
The ITD is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in the finance industry, with strong skills in data analysis and management. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements from PSOD and NSO stakeholders and working with ITD colleagues to implement changes. This role provides the opportunity to create impactful products within a dynamic, cross-functional team.
Scope of Work/Responsibilities
- Strategic analysis & decommissioning:Lead the analysis and decommissioning of the pipeline application to enhance efficiency and data accuracy, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with security policies.
- Requirement gathering & documentation:Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from PSOD and NSO, facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and IT teams to support the transition to NSO enterprise applications.
- Gap analysis & alignment:Identify and address missing fields and functionalities between pipeline and NSO systems, enhancing compatibility and functionality.
- Transition strategy & risk reduction:Develop a comprehensive transition plan to decommission the PSOD Pipeline with minimal disruption, optimizing resource and budget allocation while mitigating operational risks.
- Stakeholder engagement & readiness:Prepare stakeholders for change through strategic planning and advisory support, advocating for process improvements and ensuring seamless transition.
- Implementation & performance monitoring:Manage solution implementation, assist in QA, deployment, and support phases, and monitor product performance and user satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting & Incident Management:Provide regular project status updates and assist with solutions for escalated production incidents, conducting root cause analysis and proposing preventive measures.
Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally in finance.
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, and Excel for data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with ITIL, Agile, or similar IT frameworks.
- Bonus: Knowledge of private sector operations, CreditLens, LoanIQ, or Summit.
Reporting and Coordination
- For the provision of staff augmentation services, the Agency Personnel will take instructions from the Manager at the Information Technology Department and work closely with the project team, internal and external stakeholders.
- The Agency Personnel will provide any other services as required by the team and ITD supervisor or user unit.
Work Arrangement
- Willing to work remotely with occasional reporting to Headquarters if necessary
- Work Schedule is from 9:00AM – 6:00PM Manila Time.
