Newborn Care Nurse

We are currently seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly skilled Maternity & Newborn Care Nurse to provide full-time care within a private household in Dubai.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the mother during pregnancy and postpartum recovery, while delivering expert, hands-on care for the newborn. The ideal candidate must have strong, proven experience with newborns and be confident working independently in a home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide complete newborn care (feeding, burping, bathing, diaper changing, soothing, swaddling)
• Monitor the baby’s health, sleep patterns, feeding schedule, and overall development
• Support the mother during pregnancy and throughout the postpartum recovery period
• Assist with breastfeeding and/or bottle-feeding routines
• Establish and maintain healthy sleep routines for the newborn
• Provide night care support when required
• Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure a clean, safe environment for both mother and baby
• Offer practical guidance, reassurance, and newborn care education to parents
• Monitor mother’s recovery and report any health concerns when necessary

Requirement

• Proven experience caring for newborns (essential)
• Previous experience as a Maternity Nurse, Newborn Care Nurse, or Postpartum Nurse
• Strong knowledge of newborn health, feeding, sleep training, and early development
• Experience supporting mothers during postpartum recovery
• Nursing degree or relevant certification
• DHA license preferred
• Ability to work full-time (live-in preferred)
• Professional, discreet, and trustworthy
• Calm, patient, nurturing personality
• Currently based in Dubai
