Role and Responsibilities

  • A leading specialised payments platform looking for a graduate with a passion for banking, fintech or payments to join our Enterprise Risk Management function

  • As a Graduate Risk Operations Analyst, you will help the organisation to mitigate risks arising from processes, people and systems

  • Make a significant business impact by assisting with team operations, group insurance programme management, oversight of external regulatory reporting and by performing root cause analysis and risk assessments for various business units within the company 

  • Graduates will be working with and learning from Risk Governance Managers who are driving the global Risk Governance agenda

  • Support the management of our global and internal risk governance operations, to include group insurance renewals, regulatory submissions, policy review cycles, risk programme management (risk strategy/initiatives)

  • Conduct business and operational process mapping to identify risks and controls

  • Support risk mitigation action plans

  • Monitor and review the impact to the risk profile of future initiatives, including new product risk assessments, changes to business processes (automation) and targeted risk reviews

  • Participate in internal risk reporting programmes

  • Act as a key support in the management of the group insurance programme life cycle, including maintenance of insurance registers, management of insurance mailbox workflow and responding to and tracking enquiries

  • Project management support for Enterprise Risk projects

  • Develop and maintain internal operational procedures

  • Collaborate with the company’s other organisational lines of defence (i.e. Compliance, Internal Audit etc)

  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of risk systems and data

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelors degree – any discipline

  • Adaptable and comfortable both working on your own initiative and as a team player

  • An enthusiastic team player with the ability to work within prescribed deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skill

  • A demonstrable interest and desire to work in fintech
