Job Openings Marketing & Events Intern

About the job Marketing & Events Intern

About Wired:

Wired isn't another women's empowerment brand.

We're a space where connection sparks impact - real, lasting change in your life and your community. Our gatherings are more than meetups. They're a catalyst for honest conversation, deep reflection, and real momentum. We value depth over small talk, and generosity that extends far beyond the moment. Wired is being built with agility and built with the women it is created for.

The Role:

We're looking for a get-it-done, creative and community-minded Marketing & Events Intern to help bring Wireds voice and vision to life. You'll be the behind-the scenes force keeping things moving - executing content, organizing gatherings, and making sure all the details (from visuals to venues) align with our mission of meaningful connection. This person will execute and follow up on the details of Wireds marketing plan. We need support with content creation for new offerings and campaigns. The role will follow our content calendar and brand voice. The intern will also have high degree of time spent on organizing and delivering details of the Wired gatherings as a primary way we connect with our community and reach more women for impact.

You'll work directly with our VP and marketing consultant to execute Wireds content calendar, elevate our community gatherings, and grow our brand from the inside out.

What You'll Do:

Marketing Plan & Social Media

  • Follow and execute Wireds marketing plan and content calendar - with an eye on details and pulling all of the pieces together for the campaigns through social, email and events.
  • Curate visuals, write copy, coordinate communications, and manage digital touch points in alignment with the Wired voice.
  • Support content creation and delivery across social media, email (Mailchimp), and other brand platforms. Engage with our online community - respond to comments, build connection, and track whats resonating.

Gatherings & Events

  • Scout and coordinate venues, partners and logistics for Wired gatherings (local events in the Twin Cities).
  • Manage all event details: food, flow, live stream, speakers/panelists, photography, and anything else needed to make it seamless.
  • Work with the Wired VP on understanding the theme, purpose and activity of the gathering.
  • Own event communications from start to finish: pre-event hype, registration, reminders, and post-event recaps.
  • Work closely with the Wired Ambassadors and speakers to create roles and run-of-show that reflect our values and vibe.
  • Support post-event engagement: Feedback surveys, thank you notes, and content recaps that carry energy forward.

What You Bring:

  • A natural planner and self-starter. You stay organized, proactive and calm under chaos.
  • A strong eye for aesthetics and storytelling - especially on social.
  • Early experience in, studying or recently graduated, in Marketing, PR, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field.
  • Experience or a serious passion for event planning, logistics, and mission-driven work.
  • Confident using Canva, Mailchimp, social tools, and light graphic design.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small, passionate team.
  • Excited about women's leadership, bold brands, and showing up with purpose.

What You'll Gain:

  • Real-world experience running marketing campaigns and producing events for a purpose-driven brand.
  • Hands-on mentorship from senior leaders and our powerhouse advisory board.
  • Portfolio-worthy project you can own from idea to execution.
  • A flexible, outcomes-based work environment where your voice matters.
  • A front-row seat to the growth of a brand thats redefining connection, leadership and impact for women.
