About the job Front-End Engineer (Web Designer / HTML Coder) - Japanese Bilingual
A leading IT consulting firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Front-End Engineer to join their Online Marketing Division. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing high-quality web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will work closely with designers to bridge the gap between visual design and technical implementation, ensuring seamless UI/UX, responsiveness, and accessibility across various platforms including SaaS and CMS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Implementation: Develop and maintain web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Platform Development: Build and customize sites on SaaS platforms such as Webflow and Shopify.
- CMS Management: Construct and develop custom templates for Content Management Systems, primarily WordPress.
- UI/UX Collaboration: Work with designers to design structures and implement web animations with a focus on user experience.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all web assets are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and meet web accessibility standards.
- Project Strategy: Participate from the proposal phase to provide technical insights for solving client business challenges.
- Maintenance: Provide ongoing web maintenance and updates for existing clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Fluency in both English and Japanese
- Proven professional experience in Web Design and Front-End Coding.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3.
- Development experience on SaaS platforms (e.g., Webflow, Shopify).
- Deep knowledge and experience with CMS, specifically WordPress.
- Proficiency in jQuery and JavaScript.
- Experience with graphic and authoring tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver).
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
- Experience in E-commerce (EC) site development.
- Knowledge of mobile application development.

Base salary: DOE $45,000.00~$50,000.00 + benefits package *The salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
