- Position: Regional Sales Manager (Exempt)
- Location: Home Office in the United States
- Covering Territory: US (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts) + Canada
- Travel requirements: Approximately 60-70% travel across the U.S. and Canada.
- Department: Sales Dept.
- Reports to: Sales Manager / Director
- Salary: 95K ~100K + Sales Manager title $6,000 year + Bonus + Car allowance (if company car is provided, not applied)

General Position Summary:
This position is responsible to develop and promote the Company products and services at the designated areas in order to increase the profit of the company as well as maintaining the existing customer base.
Essential Job Functions:
〈SALES & MARKETING COORDINATION〉
- Contacts potential customers by phone, email and in person on a daily basis, and update salesforce information.
- Identifies sales prospects and contacts them and other accounts.
- Determines customers needs and budgets; plans a sales strategy to sell the services.
- Responsible for developing the sales strategies for designated areas, and updates the strategies frequently to match managements decisions.
- Develops and maintains sales materials to be presented to the customers.
- Conducts sales presentations and introduces promotional products to both existing and potential customers.
- Develops and maintains sales relationship with existing and potential customers by following up frequently especially when quotations are submitted. Develops sales and action targets and submits semiannual action plan; Actively Implements the strategic sales plan accordingly.
- Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from sales activities, and salesforce.
- Communicates with existing and potential customers seeking sales opportunities as well as identifying market trends.
- Recommends potential services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
- Communicates with dealers to provide sales support and submits dealer-related activities report.
- Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer relationships: keeps the management informed.
- Submits a business travel plan to Sales Manager at least two weeks prior to the travel begins.
- Develops and updates marketing and customer profile for the designated area and maintains the data up-to-date.
- Develops greater knowledge and familiarity with company products and services.
- Participates in marketing events such as trade shows and seminars in order to share information and keep the marketing information up-to-date.
- Performs collection activities associated with delinquent account.
- Performs operational testing, technical support and follow-up at customer sites and in-house laboratory.
- Reviews and follows up the leads collected at trade shows.
- Conducts research and analysis to identify customer needs and creates proposals respond to the needs.
- Develops trip/expense report.
- Responsible for answering customers questions about services and inquiries about the products: identifies and resolves client concerns.
- Stays involved and works closely with customers for smooth transactions.
- Receives and processes orders, provides information regarding current pricing, changes in service, discontinuance of items, and shipping.
- Answers customers technical questions regarding products, device operation and/or maintenance.
- Resolves customers complaints via phone and/or email.
- Provides after sales support to customers collaborating with Maintenance Department and Technical Department.
〈OTHER & MISCELLANEOUS〉
- Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
- Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.
- Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
- Maintains good communication with management, other staff members and outside contacts.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Qualifications:
- Education Experience - Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Work Experience - Experience in sales of Bakery industry is required.
- Supervisory Responsibilities - None required.
- Certificates / Licenses - Drivers license / U.S. Passport
